Supported Browsers

The Price Discovery Web application supports four different Web browsers:

  • Apple Safari Web Browser

  • Google Chrome Browser

  • Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer

  • Mozilla Firefox Web Browser

Each browser has some behavioral differences, just because they are different products.

RSS Feeds

The RSS Rich Site Summary, often dubbed Really Simple Syndication, is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works in a standardized format.

The Price Discovery application provides an RSS feed for the following selections:

By using the RSS Feed, you can save your selected criteria and get updates on a regular basis without having to reselect the years, commodities, and all of the other fields.

Note: Some of the browsers allow users to subscribe to the RSS feed; however, that ability is dependent on the browsers themselves, not on the Price Discovery application.

The following instructions for viewing the RSS feeds use Mary Prices as an example, but the same instructions work for the other reports.

The instructions do not address subscribing to the feeds, since that function is not done through the Price Discovery application.
